Susan Boyle – Britain’s Got Talent 2009
Susan Boyle, a 47 year old woman surprised the world when she sang I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables. There’s a lot of videos of her audition on youtube but this link in particular is viewed at least 39 million times. That’s amazing! What’s more amazing is her beautiful voice, which you wouldn’t expect coming from her. In addition, she’s got great personality.
Lesson learned, DO NOT JUDGE THE BOOK BY IT’S COVER. Youtube disabled the embed function of all her videos so this video is from Dailymotion.com.
ABDC’s Best Performance
If you watch ABDC, then you know what I’m talking about. Imo, the best performance ever in America’s Best Dance Crew, of all the seasons, was performed by Beat Freaks. Beat Freaks is an all-female crew from Los Angeles with a B-girl style performance. These ladies names are:

Teresa Espinosa
Keeley “Lockn’Key” Kaukimoce
Maryss From Paris
Lady Jules
B-Girl Shorty
Rino
Although Quest Crew won the competition in Season 3, I still think this is by far the best performance. Jabbawockeez, Kaba Modern, Fanny Pak, Quest Crew and obviously Beat Freaks were my favs. Enjoy watching!

It’s that time of year again and American Idol season 8 has officially begun. And this year, my favorite is a college student from Chapel Hill North Carolina. Why is he my favorite? Well, I’ve seen his videos on youtube together with the UNC Clef Hangers and they are just great! Hopefully I am right about this one again because for the past American Idol Seasons, I was right about Taylor Hicks and David Cook (pinpointing them to win since their first audition). Although Danny Gokey seems to have won some of the people and the judges last night, hopefully Anoop Dogg will go far this season. Vote for Anoop!!!
